OTTER CREEK PARK

Otter Creek Outdoor Recreation Area is one of the treasures of Meade County. Now being run by the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife, Otter Creek’s 2,155 acres offer an abundance of outdoor experiences.

The recreation area is located approximately 25 miles southwest of downtown Louisville along the Ohio River in Meade County, Kentucky. It is accessible from Dixie Highway, just 14 miles south of the Gene Snyder Freeway. Otter Creek offers an array of activities, including picnicking, hunting, fishing, horseback riding, mountain biking, shooting ranges, camping, and more.

 

Camping reservations may be made Wednesday - Friday between 9 am and 5 pm by calling (502) 492-9854. Walk-ins are welcome but must check-in between 9 am and 5 pm, Wednesday-Sunday.
