Meade County Tourism is bringing back Cookout on the Creek. Our BBQ SmokeMaster Contest and Family Fun Day! The event will take place at Otter Creek Recreational Area on June 4. Our contestants will be cooking the night before to bring everyone great BBQ samples during the festival. Don't worry, the smoking will continue into the next day with the SideMaster and DessertMaster contests. We will have a dedicated judging panel representing Kentuckiana Pitmasters, Meade County, and more! Judging and winners will be announced on June 4. New editions this year will be a massive Kidz Zone provided by D's Extreme Sports, Inc. We will also be expanding our food truck, vendor, and entertainment areas. Trollies will be provided to our expanded parking area across the street. As always this is a free event provided by Meade County Tourism.
